Mount

 

Use Mount dialog to mount Sentry volume.

 

Select volume in the volume list, then select menu command File/Mount. Enter password used when volume was created. If volume is mounted for the first time, dialog box will appear asking you to Format the volume. After volume is mounted, it is ready for use, and appears as a disk with drive letter in Windows Explorer and other applications.

 

Key File

Name and location of volume KEY File. For information on how to change key file name and location see Moving Encrypted Volume.

 

Data File

Name and location of volume RAW File. To change data file name and location type in new value or press "..." button (or Alt + Down key) to bring up open file dialog box.

 

Size

Sentry volume size in specified units (KB, MB or GB). You can specify this value only when creating new volume.

 

Encryption

Sentry volume encryption algorithm. You can specify this value only when creating new volume.

 

Password

Password used to access this volume. Type in password for this volume.

 

Drive Letter

Windows drive letter assigned to this volume. Specify any available drive letter to use with this volume.

 

Read Only

Flag indicating this volume has read only access. If selected, applications will be able to read files from this volume but not modify them.

 

Timeout

Period of volume inactivity after which volume is automatically dismounted. Activity is defined as any read or write operation on the volume. Inactivity timeout is specified in minutes. Zero indicates no inactivity timeout.
