
Use New dialog to create new encrypted volume. After volume is created you will need to Mount it in order to use it.
Key File
Name and location of volume's KEY File. Type in name and location of KEY File or press "..." button (or Alt + Down key) to bring up open file dialog box.
Data File
Name and location of volume's RAW File. Type in name and location of RAW File or press "..." button (or Alt + Down key) to bring up open file dialog box.
Size
Sentry volume size in specified units (KB, MB or GB). Specify size of new volume. This is the size of volume's RAW File and amount of data this volume will be able to store.
Encryption
Sentry volume encryption algorithm. Specify encryption algorithm to use with this volume. For more information see Choosing encryption algorithm.
Password
Password used to access this volume. Type in password to use with this volume. For more information see Choosing secure password. You can also change password after volume has been created using Change Password command.
Drive Letter
Windows drive letter assigned to this volume. Specify any available drive letter to use with this volume. You can also change drive letter after volume has been created using Mount or Properties command.
Read Only
Flag indicating this volume has read only access. You can also change read only property after volume has been created using Mount or Properties command.
Timeout
Period of volume inactivity after which volume is automatically dismounted. Activity is defined as any read or write operation on the volume. Inactivity timeout is specified in minutes. Zero indicates no inactivity timeout. You can also change timeout after volume has been created using Mount or Properties command.
